An emerging collective practice
Art, place, memory and care.
Land Therapy is an emerging collective practice connecting art, place and care.
It grows through projects that respond to the history and needs of particular places—through restoration, remembrance, creative work and community.
At present, Crans-Montana is the immediate focus. This site supports a first meeting of people already working for the community, while showing the relationships and experience that inform the project.

Crans-Montana · Initial Collaborative Meeting
Proposed meeting
People in the community have begun a range of work after the tragedy. This is a first chance to share what is already underway, understand different perspectives and see where clearer communication could help.
Attendance does not mean joining a new organisation or supporting a particular proposal. The memorial landscape below is one project still in development.

Current projects and people
These projects take different forms, but each asks how art, place and shared attention can support memory, repair and connection. Choose a project to see who is involved; select a person for more information.
This list will grow as people choose how they would like to be represented.
About
An approach still taking shape.
Land Therapy is gathering through experiences such as Tre Luci Studios and the Kripalu Artist Residency, and through new relationships, dreams, ideas and opportunities.
There is an interest in how meaningful artwork and shared work in a place can help people connect with land, nature and culture. The understanding of what this practice can become, and what it may leave behind, is still developing.
